A Grifftintown Kitchen with a Custom European Touch

When Élodie and Marc, a young professional couple living in Griffintown, Montreal, reached out to us, they were full of ideas — but unsure how to bring their vision to life. Their apartment was modern and bright, but the kitchen space was completely bare. No cabinets, no fridge, no oven — just an open wall waiting to be transformed.

They told us:

“We love clean, European design. We want something that feels high-end, but also cozy — something that feels like us.”

Our team immediately got to work, visiting their space and understanding their lifestyle. Since they cook often and host friends on weekends, functionality and elegance were both essential. We proposed a custom kitchen design featuring rich walnut upper cabinets, matte midnight blue lower cabinets, and sleek black stone countertops — all fitted around premium appliances including a full-size fridge, built-in oven, and minimalist fixtures.

The project moved from planning to installation in a few short weeks. As you can see in the before-and-after, the transformation is dramatic — but more importantly, deeply personal. The result is a kitchen that is not just beautiful, but also tailored to their lives.

“We can’t believe how perfectly it reflects us. It’s like it was always meant to be here.” – Élodie

At Lux Kitchen, we’re proud to help Montrealers like Élodie and Marc turn their blank canvas into timeless luxury.
